This scene is of a waterfall at Hanging Rock State Park in Danbury, North Carolina. I took this picture while hiking one of the trails on a beautiful fall day. The detail of the rocks, leaves, underbrush and waterfall are not only captured in the coloring of the paint, but with the texture of the paint on the canvas.
