I used muted colors to stay true to the original picture, clipped from an issue from my alumni magazine. When I think of England, I often picture rainy days and foggy nights. This image reflects the beauty of the land in England and captures weather that characterizes this land. Along with muted colors, I chose to blur lines and images very slightly to produce the overall muted and understated effect. I also used a lot of paint to create a lot of texture. The use of texture, along with the cool use of colors, creates an easy and understated image that pops at the same time.
