This is a version of my original painting "Tomatoes." I thought it would be fun to play with the colors of the still life, using all cool colors while keeping the image the same. I decided on the cool blues, purples and pinks because they contrast so well with the color of actual tomatoes.

Painting the same image was easy and hard at the same time. I found it quite easy to paint the same image because I had obviously sketched and painted the image before. I found it challenging in the fact that I had to remain true to the perspective and shading of the original painting while changing the color of the image. This painting was fun and I enjoyed taking a twist on an otherwise standard still life.
